Wellywood

Wellington, New Zealand. It was named number four on the Lonely Planet's 'top ten cities of the world' list. Last weekend I was in our lovely capital enjoying the sights. It is currently the NZ International Arts Festival, and the streets of Wellington were packed with with Hipsters, Buskers, Street Magicians, and Acrobats. It made a gal from Palmerston North feel like a right cultural hick! Despite this self-aware cringe factor, I was thoroughly inspired and refreshed. So thank you to the 'Coolest Little Capital in the World'.
