Last night I finished reading
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. All I can say is: wow.
This book is beautifully written, tells a really really good story, and reminds the reader of one of the fundamental lessons in life - to follow your dreams and to listen to your heart. Even though this sounds cheesy, the author has taken a very unique approach to the theme (the main character actually meets his heart and becomes friends with it so that he can find his treasure).
So, if you want a read that warms the ol' cockles of the heart, and is an easy read, I would recommend this book!
